Lakewood, Lee’s Summit MO’s premier lake community, is located along 291 N highway.  Lakewood consists of mostly single family homes with minimal multi-family housing areas.  Lakewood has a broad range of price points – from the low $100,000’s to over a million.  Lakewood has an active HOA that sponsors many community events.  There is truly something for everyone at Lakewood!

Docks – Lakewood has public swimming docks for residents located sporadically across the lake.  There are no private docks in Lakewood.

Community Activities – The homeowners association sponsors many community events including pontoon tours, holiday parties, and  parades.  There are many active groups and clubs.

Amenities – Lakewood’s amenities are hard to beat.  The community features 4 Swimming Pools (including a new children’s play area w/ slides and sprinklers) Tennis Courts, Walking Trails, Basketball Courts, Playgrounds, 2 Club Houses and Fitness Center

Golf – Lakewood Oaks Golf Course is located in Lakewood.  The private, 18 hole, course is beautifully maintained and challenging course.  Membership options are available for residents and non-residents alike.  The Argyle Restaurant, located in the clubhouse, offers fantastic cuisine and themed activities.
